On the 21st of July 2021, we made our way to the quaint village of Za Rodina from Yekaterinburg. This trip has been a tradition for us since 1995, as we have our very own house in the area. Upon reaching the beach, which we accessed through a field, we noticed that the coastline had shrunk. Unfortunately, we were also disappointed to find that the beach was quite dirty and there were jellyfish flying around. However, we decided to explore the nearby village of Peresyp, which was only 2 kilometres away, and were pleasantly surprised to find a central beach that was not only clean but also quite spacious. Additionally, there was a lovely cafe located at the top of the beach, which made for a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
The beach is a pristine and immaculate haven, perfect for families with young children. The shallow waters provide a safe and accessible environment for the little ones to splash around in. The waves gently break, creating a tranquil atmosphere that is both soothing and relaxing. However, the only drawback is that the access to the sea is not uniformly convenient throughout the beach.
Nice beach
The shoreline is covered in fine sand, but unfortunately, the ocean has a pungent odor of either mud or algae. Despite this, the overall experience is still satisfactory.
To me, this location is truly remarkable. The beach boasts a soft, sandy shoreline and the water warms up at a quicker pace compared to the Black Sea. As the Sea of Azov is not as deep as other bodies of water, it is perfect for individuals who may have a fear of the depths. The coastline gradually slopes into the water, creating shallow backwaters that are perfect for young children to enjoy without any safety concerns.
