In the month of October, the beach pleasantly surprised us with its warm weather. The water temperature on October 13-14 was around 20-21 degrees, which made it quite comfortable for a refreshing swim. The serene sea and tranquil weather added to the charm of the beach. However, the presence of large jellyfish with stinging tentacles put a damper on our autumn beach vacation. As the wind picked up, the waves became rough, and a layer of algae covered the entire coastline. The beach was adorned with small pebbles, and the dressing rooms were not well-maintained, leaving them dirty.
The beach at City Beach offers convenient changing rooms, but unfortunately lacks restroom and shower facilities. To shield from the sun, there are sun awnings available to provide shade. Though, if you want to lounge on a sun lounger, you'll need to pay 150 rubles for half a day or 200 rubles for the whole day. There are parking lots nearby with ample space to accommodate visitors. The sea entrance is comprised of small pebbles for the first three meters, then transitions to sand. Be mindful of algae at deeper depths. Several cafes are located nearby, providing options for food and refreshments.
Not bad
The beach is incredibly scenic, offering various seating options on large rocks, small pebbles, or soft sand. Additionally, visitors have the option to drive their cars right up to the water. However, one downside is the lack of trash cans, resulting in a dirty beach with litter left behind by forgetful visitors.
The beach has improved since last year, with the addition of more sun loungers and buoys. However, it is still quite dirty and the dressing rooms are not well-maintained. It's obvious that some vacationers are not properly disposing of waste, and there is also an issue with algae.
