Praia da saude is located on the Atlantic ocean and it is in the 36th place out of 84 beaches in the Lisbon Area region 11.8 km away from its center, the city of Lisboa. It is one of the beaches of Terras da Costa settlement, just 0.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

The view of the beach is absolutely stunning, stretching out for quite a distance. The sand is clean and has a lovely golden hue, and the Atlantic waters are refreshingly cold. It's a popular spot for surfers, although the waves aren't particularly big, making it unsuitable for swimming. Nonetheless, it's still an enjoyable experience for everyone. There are convenient facilities such as changing rooms, showers, and a variety of food and drink options, including delicious ice creams. Building sand castles is also a possibility here. The beach isn't overly crowded, allowing for a more relaxed atmosphere. Additionally, there is the added benefit of free parking.
