Its strategic location near Lisbon offers a breathtaking vista of the iconic bridge and bay, while the tranquil waters and velvety sands are a sight to behold. This beach is a true representation of the natural beauty that Portugal has to offer.
This stunning beach is a must-visit destination, offering a plethora of amenities such as a playground, cozy cafes, and a soft sandy shoreline perfect for lounging. Although it can get a bit crowded on weekends, it's all part of the beach experience and shouldn't deter you from enjoying this natural oasis.
The beach is pristine with soft sand, and there are conveniently located restrooms that are free of charge, just a short walk from the train station. It's an ideal spot to take a refreshing swim and soak up some sun. We enjoyed it so much that we visited twice! However, if the wind isn't blowing, it can get quite hot, so it's advisable to bring a shade umbrella.
The beach is stunning and perfect for swimming and unwinding. The water is incredibly tranquil with no rough waves, making it ideal for families with young kids. You can rent sunbeds with sunshades for the whole day at a reasonable price of 20 to 25 euros for two people. The sand is clean and fine, and the overall experience is fantastic. The restrooms and showers are well-maintained and clean. Additionally, there is a small beachside restaurant, but we didn't try it since we brought our own food.
