Pinamalayan Beach is located on the Tayabas strait (part of Sulu Sea) and it is in the 117th place out of 167 beaches in the Mimaropa region 53.2 km away from its center, the city of Calapan. It is one of the beaches of Guinhawa settlement, just 1.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with turquoise water and gray fine pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
