Flea Bay is located on the South Pacific and it is in the 6th place out of 29 beaches in the Canterbury region The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Flea Bay coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

It's a beautiful location that can be easily reached by car under normal driving conditions. There are no public restrooms or hiking trails available. While the bay is open to the public, the surrounding area is private property.

This beach is stunningly beautiful and feels incredibly remote. There are white flippered Penguins nesting nearby, and I even had the chance to meet the friendly farmer who has been there for 40 years. Parking is available at the end of the track by the DOC sign, but be aware that the track is only suitable for 4WD vehicles. It is narrow, steep, and has limited passing places, so caution is advised to avoid any costly mistakes.

I visited this bay with a tour and enjoyed watching the wild penguins. If your car is not 4WD, I recommend taking a tour because the roads can be a bit rough. The views and wildlife at this place are amazing, we absolutely loved it!
