Lonely Bay

Lonely Bay is located on the South Pacific and it is in the 4th place out of 43 beaches in the Waikato region The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright shell sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Lonely Bay coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sea kayaking.

Getting to the beach is quite simple: just take a short walk along the trail. Parking is located at some distance, within 300 meters.

4 more beaches are also available within a 5 km radius. The best one is Cooks Beach, which has a rating of 8.4.

Lonely Bay (Waikato) is located outside the Cooks Beach settlement, which may cause some difficulties for travelers who stay far from the coast. However, the remoteness from the village is not always a bad thing. Lovers of quiet rest know, the farther the beach, the fewer crowds.

The beach stretches on the coast of the North island and the easiest way to get to the beach is by car or bike.
