It is a long bay with crystal turquoise water and brown sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. It had been 15 years since I last visited Cooper's Beach, and I was amazed to find that it still looked as beautiful as ever! The tide was in, and the water remained shallow for quite some time. It's truly a hidden gem.

Our picnic at the picturesque Coopers beach was spoiled when we discovered some fairly recent dog feces beneath our blanket. Not only did it cut our picnic short, we had to endure the smell on our way back.
