Playa Punta chivato is located on the Gulf of California (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 95th place out of 133 beaches in the Baja California Sur region 363.2 km away from its center, the city of La Paz. It is one of the beaches of Palo Verde settlement, just 8.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.
