Once you escape the hustle and bustle of the main road, be prepared for a bumpy journey that lasts about ten minutes as you slow down to a leisurely 10-15 miles per hour. Although the primary location was closed, we discovered a nearby path that allowed us to capture some stunning photographs.

The beach's location is truly magnificent. The cabins, with their rustic charm, are situated right on the sandy shoreline. The electricity supply is limited, as it is sourced from a communal generator. However, each cabin is equipped with a stove and cooking facilities, as well as a decent rustic bathroom and shower. It is advisable to bring along your own towels, extra linen, pots and pans. But, the location is simply unforgettable! When night falls, the skies are so dark that the stars, planets and satellites shine brilliantly, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere.

If you're seeking a serene environment with stunning vistas and an authentic connection with nature, this rustic beach retreat is the perfect spot for you. While it may not offer luxurious amenities, the cozy cabins do feature their own bathrooms with showers, as well as gas stoves for cooking. Keep in mind that electricity is only available from 8pm to 7am, so be sure to bring a power strip if you need to charge multiple devices. Located just 20 minutes south of Mulege downtown, this picturesque beach also offers kayak rentals and ice sales. Don't miss the chance to wake up early and witness the breathtaking sunrise over the water.

This beach is truly one of the most stunning places I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. It boasts a harmonious blend of tranquility, natural beauty, simplicity, and even a touch of imperfection that only adds to its charm. While it may not be without its flaws, it is precisely these imperfections that make the beach so endearing. I highly recommend bringing along a good book and simply allowing yourself to bask in the serenity of this idyllic location. In comparison to other beaches in Baja, such as the over-touristy and commercialized Cabo San Lucas or the unimpressive beaches near Todos Los Santos, Playa Los Naranjos is a true gem. Even Cabo Pulmo, with its Americanized atmosphere, pales in comparison to the authentic charm of Playa Los Naranjos.
