Ixpalbarco Beach is located on the Gulf of Mexico (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 85th place out of 98 beaches in the Quintana Roo region The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

The beach appeared to be quite ordinary, but unfortunately, it was marred by the presence of pollution. We were disheartened to discover various types of litter strewn along the shoreline. It's a pity that such an issue exists, particularly since tourism is the mainstay of Cozumel's economy. It would be beneficial for the authorities to take a closer look at this matter.
