It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Playa Las Rocas is predominantly composed of stones, as the name suggests, with a small portion of sand. While it may be suitable for a couple of hours, I personally do not recommend spending the entire day there.

In all honesty, I believe that this is the sole free seashore accessible on the western edge of Cozumel. The crystal-clear water is stunning and perfect for taking a dip. Unfortunately, due to the lack of reef or coral, there are minimal fish for those interested in snorkeling. A convenient lay-by is available for parking.

The beach workers are diligent in securing umbrellas and repairing chairs with tape. It's important to note that ordering drinks must be done at the beachside, not at the bar.
