The beach features a stunning view, with immaculately clean sand that stretches as far as the eye can see. Along the boulevard, one can find an assortment of vendors peddling chilled beverages, water sports equipment, and more. Gazing out towards the sea, one can catch a glimpse of boats making their way towards the nearby port. The only downside to this idyllic location is the wastewater outlet located nearby, which detracts from the overall ambiance. Despite this, visitors can still enjoy a direct view of the Plaza Andamar and other notable structures in Boca del Río.
The beach is an exceptional spot to unwind, mingle, and relish a breathtaking sunset. It is accessible to everyone, making it an ideal destination for anyone seeking to bask in the sun and soak up some vitamin D.
The beachfront is a sight to behold at night, located at the base of Plaza las Américas and overlooking the boardwalk with cozy seating arrangements, a scattering of palm trees, and a pair of observation decks. Down below, the beach offers shaded areas for respite from the sun, though they are reserved for hotel guests upstairs. However, these areas are accessible in the evenings and nights. It's a fantastic spot for a workout, jog, leisurely stroll, or simply soaking up the vibrant surroundings. The vast squares and frequent buses along the boardwalk make it a convenient location, and vendors selling refreshing treats like raspados, glories, skites, elotes, and Tostitos are always nearby. While the water isn't too deep, caution is advised when swimming near the wave breakers.
This serene beach offers a peaceful escape, but be sure to pack your own shade or beach umbrella. It's important to exercise caution as the beach has some pits.
This shoreline boasts a serene atmosphere, despite its close proximity to the bustling city center. It's a hidden gem that remains relatively undiscovered, offering ample parking and a lifeguard on duty during daylight hours. The water is typically invitingly warm, making it an ideal spot for a refreshing swim. I highly recommend a visit to this beach, as it has quickly become my go-to destination whenever I'm in Boca del Río.
