Playa Villa Del Mar is located on the Gulf of Mexico (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 20th place out of 66 beaches in the Veracruz region The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious several bays coastline with blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

The beach is an excellent spot to spend your day, with a lovely section that offers comfortable seating and a wide range of food and drink options from the beach vendors and nearby restaurants.

The beach was lovely, although quite busy. For a more peaceful experience, I recommend taking a 10-minute walk to Playa Marti. While there are no umbrellas or tables there, it's a great spot to relax and enjoy a quiet swim or stroll. If you're looking to avoid the crowds, Playa Marti is definitely worth checking out.

There are plenty of local restaurants to choose from, with seafood being a popular option for main meals. Additionally, there are numerous local vendors selling souvenirs, making it easy to find a unique memento of your visit. The service is friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall enjoyable experience.

The beach has a serene atmosphere, however, it is marred by the presence of litter that needs to be cleared. Despite this, the view is breathtaking, offering a glimpse of the aquarium and Sacrificio's Island. Nevertheless, the unsightly trash scattered along the coastline is a major turn-off.
