Although the access road to the beach is rocky and poorly paved, and the parking lot is just a gravel road, it is definitely worth the effort to visit the beach.
I can't comment on the quality of the beach as I went diving in a few areas around the pointe. However, I have been diving for 35 years and found it to be a good first dive trip for my kids who recently got certified. We went off a boat and the water was warm and reasonably clear, although not as crystal clear as other locations. It's not particularly challenging for experienced divers, but it's perfect for recreational or holiday diving.
Perhaps it was a fantastic destination in the past, but presently, the beach is quite narrow, similar to how it used to be, and it is always crowded with people even on weekdays, who bring their tents and play loud music. The ocean floor is damaged by boats that park here, which makes it difficult to spot any fish. Additionally, there are numerous glass shards and bottle caps scattered around, indicating that the beach is not adequately cleaned.
This beach may be small, but it has plenty of things to enjoy. The snorkelling experience is fantastic, and it's an ideal location to catch a stunning sunset. However, be prepared for a steep descent to the water after parking on the road.
The beach is stunning and not too crowded due to its limited facilities. However, it may not be suitable for the elderly as the access is quite challenging with a steep and rocky slope. Best of luck with the climb!
