After waiting for an hour and realizing that my salad hasn't even been started yet, thanks to the cook's complete lack of organization, it's hard not to feel like I'm on vacation... in a not-so-great way. In the end, I left without eating after just two beers. On a positive note, the waitress was friendly and energetic. To sum up, it's a nice place to grab a drink, but not much else.
The wait for appetizers took over an hour, and we had to wait another hour to be served without any water or glasses. The smoked chicken was not actually smoked, and the fries were mushy. The accras were served in a takeout container. Despite the waitress's overwhelmed smile, the prices were outrageously high. The quality and price ratio definitely needs improvement. It's a shame because the beach itself is stunning.
Do not go there! The chef was extremely rude when we expressed our desire to dine at his restaurant, but the waitress, who was new to the job, was quite pleasant. However, after that, everything went downhill. We had to wait for an hour to receive our dishes, and when they finally arrived, they were not of good quality. The chef even insulted some of the customers. In the end, we had to settle for undercooked chicken and frozen fries with store-bought ketchup. Needless to say, we will not be returning!
The beach is extremely welcoming and offers excellent food. The staff is incredibly friendly, and you have direct access to the beach. Just be prepared to wait a little longer for your orders occasionally.
The beach is lovely and perfect for watching sunsets and taking photos. However, the beach bar shuts down early for food services. It tends to get crowded during the early and mid-day, but becomes more spacious in the late afternoon. The water is calm and there is less wind compared to other beaches located further south. Additionally, there is a fantastic walking path for those who enjoy exercising.
