Petite Anse des Salines is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 6th place out of 39 beaches in the Martinique region The beach is located in a natural place. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious bay with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Petite Anse des Salines coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities. This beach is popular for windsurfing or kiteboarding.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located at some distance, within 300 meters.

Contrary to what others may have said, this beach is not a designated "nude beach." During my visit, I was informed by two police officers that it is not permitted. Additionally, this is not an ideal spot for a clothing-optional beach due to its location along a heavily trafficked trail. The beach can also become quite hot and humid, with the surrounding trees hindering any cooling breezes.
