Samjeong Beach is located on the Sea of Japan (East Sea) and it is in the 23th place out of 30 beaches in the North Gyeongsang region 49.9 km away from its center, the city of Yeongdeok-eup. It is one of the beaches of Guryongpo-ri settlement, just 2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.
