Ilgwang Beach is located on the Sea of Japan (part of Pacific ocean) and it is in the 4th place out of 7 beaches in the Busan region 2.9 km away from its center, the city of Gijang-eup. It is one of the beaches of Ilgwang-eup settlement, just 0.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a spacious bay with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Ilgwang Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, sun umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

Fans of active recreation can take part in beach volleyball.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

Nestled in a gentle bow-shaped cove lies a picturesque beach, adorned with intricate sculptures and an observation deck that offers stunning views of the surroundings. Although lacking in shaded areas and resting spots, the beach's tranquil atmosphere is perfect for unwinding and enjoying the gentle waves. While the beach may not be spotless, the abundance of fish shells scattered along the shore adds to its natural charm. The water, although not crystal clear, is still inviting and refreshing. A unique breakwater structure surrounds the beach, creating a peaceful haven with minimal waves. For those looking to grab a bite or stay overnight, a restaurant and accommodation road are conveniently located just behind the beach. Although part of a larger stretch of beaches in Ulsan, Busan, this particular section offers a special allure that draws visitors from far and wide. It's no wonder why I came here on purpose.
