Cala Fenile is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 46th place out of 82 beaches in the Nuoro region 45 km away from its center, the city of Nuoro. It is one of the beaches of Baunei settlement, just 4.6 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal blue water and white pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Cala Fenile coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, snorkeling.

To get to the beach, you need to walk along a mountain trail more than 1km long.

The August heat can make the trek challenging, so be sure to bring ample water. The stroll along the beach lasted for a pleasant hour and fifteen minutes, with the final leg of the journey proving to be slightly more challenging. However, the exertion was undoubtedly worthwhile. Our visit took place towards the end of August, and the beach was occupied by a maximum of twenty individuals.

Although the journey to get there was a bit of a challenge, with the help of the cairns marking the path, it was definitely worth it.
