We happened to stumble upon this incredibly pleasant and family-friendly campsite by chance. The staff provided a warm and helpful welcome. The restrooms were impeccably clean and stocked with toilet paper. The small beach is conveniently located just a short distance away. It serves as an excellent home base for exploring Erice and Trapani.
The beach boasts a spacious parking lot with an incredible view of the sea just across the road. Once you reach the beach, you'll notice that it has a rocky shoreline, but it's still suitable for swimming. We had the pleasure of staying there for three nights.
The campsite is excellent with ample showers and toilets available. If you prefer hot water in the shower, it is available for a fee of EUR 0.80. During our visit in mid-May, we opted for a cold shower which worked perfectly fine. The beach is conveniently located nearby, allowing for refreshing morning swims. It is an ideal spot for day trips to Favignana and Trapani, among other places. The staff diligently cleans all the toilets each morning, and sorting bins are provided. Additionally, there is a small shop on-site where you can purchase water, beer, and basic food items.
This beach offers a fantastic camping experience, providing a wide range of showers, toilets, and sinks. The staff is friendly, and the facilities are kept clean and fresh. Moreover, the beach is located right by the sea, offering a convenient and enjoyable experience. The prices are also reasonable, making it highly recommended.
We were able to park our camper for free in the same spot we parked in January, even at night. There are no amenities available, not even trash bins since they collect the garbage directly from our doors. The area is incredibly peaceful and secure, attracting people who enjoy leisurely walks and runs along the stunning promenade that stretches from Bonagia towards Trapani and all the way to the base of Monte Cofano in the direction of San Vito lo Capo. The temperature was around 20 degrees. We took a 45-minute walk towards Tonnara di Bonagia, which has now been transformed into a resort. The small harbor is truly picturesque.
