It is one of the beaches of Eraclea Minoa settlement, just 0.2 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long bay with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors, partygoers etc. It is not crowded place during the season. There is a campsite located nearby.

During our journey from Marsala to Agrigento, we stumbled upon this hidden gem of a beach. Though we didn't plan on staying for long, we found ourselves captivated by the crystal clear waters and pristine sands for almost four hours. It's one of the most picturesque beaches I've come across in Sicily, with an air of exclusivity that makes it all the more alluring. I'd definitely suggest taking the time to visit this beach and experiencing its unspoiled beauty for yourself.

In case of scorching heat, it is advisable to carry your own parasol as there is no shelter available at the beach. On either side of the beach, there are two exquisite establishments offering delectable food and refreshing drinks. During our visit in early June, we relished the luxury of having the entire beach to ourselves with no other visitors in sight.

The path through the woods leads to an expansive stretch of sandy shoreline. The beach is sizeable enough to accommodate a good number of visitors without feeling too crowded. The umbrellas are not overly abundant, creating a more natural and uncluttered atmosphere. There are two bars, one of which serves delicious food, while the other offers a trendy beach bar experience. Although there is a generous amount of free parking available, it may require a short stroll to reach the beach. Alternatively, some free parking spots are situated closer to the beach, but these tend to fill up quickly.

The beach was a sight to behold with its untamed waves crashing onto the shore and a warning red flag fluttering in the breeze. Despite its beauty, the beach was surprisingly deserted with no sign of any visitors or services.

Without a doubt, Heraclea is my favorite beach spot. It's much quieter than the crowded camper's side, which is definitely not enjoyable. However, Heraclea offers clear and refreshing water, a secluded nude beach, and a gay-friendly beach. The stunning mountain views are also a bonus, surpassing even the beautiful formations of crystals and salt at Scala di Turchi. While you do need to bring your own supplies, it's a small price to pay for the peace and tranquility you'll experience without being surrounded by obnoxious campers.
