This rocky cove boasts crystal clear waters and a delightful lack of crowds. However, reaching this hidden gem may prove to be a bit of a challenge. While the distance from the center is not too far (about 20-25 minutes), half of the journey must be done on a dirt road that starts when you spot a sign pointing the way. Be sure to don your trusty tennis shoes, as the descent to the beach is either via a fairly sloping rocky platform or a narrow path that runs along the cliff edge. It's not exactly a walk in the park, but for those who relish a bit of adventure, it's well worth the effort. Just don't expect it to be a breeze for those seeking an easy-access beach day.
The descent to the beach is quite steep.
Located south of town, this beach boasts a rocky terrain that is common among most beaches on the island. Although it may be a bit challenging to reach due to its steep descent, the beach offers a unique experience for those who are up for the adventure. One of the perks of this beach is the natural shade it provides in the afternoon, making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. As the day progresses, the entire beach becomes shaded, making it an ideal place to spend the late afternoon hours.
This charming beach is the sole one of notable magnitude that can be accessed by foot with a leisurely stroll of 15 to 20 minutes. Personally, I hold a special fondness for this seaside spot due to a multitude of reasons, with the most significant being a matter of personal belief that I have upheld since 2000.
