La Scissice beach is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 72th place out of 109 beaches in the Messina region 59.2 km away from its center, the city of Messina. It is one of the beaches of Capistello settlement, just 0.4 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and gray pebble, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

La Scissice beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sea kayaking.

Getting to the beach is quite simple: just take a short walk along the trail. Parking is located at some distance, within 300 meters.

This beach is a great hidden gem with stunning scenery and plenty of opportunities for snorkeling. There's also a spacious spot under the pine trees to take a break from the sun while still enjoying the view. The descent to the beach is a bit steep, but not overly long. To find it, head to coordinates 38.4515, 14.9563 and look for the gate in the picture. Once you pass through, follow the path to the T-junction and turn right. The beach will be waiting for you!

To get to La Forbice beach, also known as Praia Ferrante, head south and park your scooter at the coordinates 38.453030,14.959340. From there, follow a path that starts off passing through some houses and then leads into a wooded area. The descent can be steep, but after about 15 minutes of walking, you'll arrive at this beautiful paradise.

This beach is really amazing and easy to access. To get there, simply take the driveway from Lipari to San Salvatore (coordinates 38.453030, 14.959340) and follow the signs to the pedestrian path. After a short walk of 25-30 minutes, you will find yourself at the stunning Praia Ferrante, also known as Spiaggia de la Forbice. The beach is surrounded by a small pine forest where you can relax in the shade or have a romantic picnic. I highly recommend arriving early in the morning and bringing water and snacks, as the return trip can be challenging due to some steep slopes. Overall, the effort is definitely worth it for this incredible beach experience.
