This beach may be visually stunning, but it's not exactly user-friendly. If you're lugging around a stroller or have any mobility issues, good luck getting in. Maybe if they invested some of the cash they're raking in from the overpriced bathrooms, they could make the entrance a bit more accessible. And don't even get me started on the chaotic parking situation. But hey, at least the water is clean and the sunset is Instagram-worthy. And if you're into surfing, the waves are pretty sweet too.
The bay is absolutely stunning with a lengthy stretch of exquisite sand. It is truly one of the rare spots that has managed to maintain its natural beauty and remains untouched by any human development.
Located within the municipality of Vico del Gargano, this beach is conveniently accessible by following the signs on the SS 89, situated between Peschici and San Menaio. The bay boasts a lengthy stretch of fine sand, nestled between two rocky headlands, and offers shallow waters that are perfect for even the smallest of swimmers. Visitors can choose from three fully-equipped beaches, separated by patches of unoccupied shoreline. Parking along the road is free, though availability may be limited during peak season. The beach is a popular destination for campers in the area, resulting in a higher volume of tourists during busier periods. The surrounding trees and countryside create a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing day by the sea.
