The beach was not overly crowded, with plenty of sand and it was kept clean. The only downside was the lack of parking spots.
To get to the beach, take one of the narrow streets off the Vieste Peschici coast road and drive for about a kilometer, crossing a small bridge. The beach is situated between two rocky promontories, with the old town of Vieste in the background. There are two equipped bathing establishments, as well as stretches of free beach which are popular with visitors from the nearby campsites. If you're lucky, you can find a free parking spot for up to fifty cars. Otherwise, there is a private paid parking lot at a rate of 5 euros per day. The beach has fine sand and the shallow water is great for kids.
Just a 7-minute drive from Vieste, you'll find the beach of Molinella. It's easy to get to and, if you're lucky like I was in June, you can find free parking near the free beach or pay €5 for the whole day. There are two equipped beaches with all the services you need, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. The water was very clean and calm, like a bay, with a sandy bottom and shallow for a long stretch, making it great for kids. I couldn't have chosen a better spot, so I highly recommend it to everyone!
I was really impressed with this beach!
