Soverato beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 7th place out of 25 beaches in the Catanzaro region 24.4 km away from its center, the city of Catanzaro. It is one of the beaches of Soverato settlement, just 0.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities. There are also some surf spots.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

During our work trip to Soverato, we had the opportunity to visit a beach with golden sand. After a day spent filming on a boat with windy conditions, we decided to take a break and stop at a nearby restaurant. The restaurant staff were very respectful of anti-covid measures, and they were incredibly friendly and kind to us. We didn't feel like they were distant from us at all. We enjoyed our experience so much that we decided to return the following evening, and our positive impressions were confirmed. The food was excellent, with generous portions, and the house wine was really good. We definitely plan to visit this beach again in the future.
