San Sostene Marina is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 6th place out of 25 beaches in the Catanzaro region 28.6 km away from its center, the city of Catanzaro. It is one of the beaches of Lacco settlement, just 1.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

The beach was absolutely exceptional! The fish was incredibly fresh and excellent, and the pizza was really good too. The staff were all young and nice, and the overall atmosphere was cozy. Keep up the great work!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this beach, as the staff were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. However, there were moments when their enthusiasm led to them speaking at a volume that was a bit too high. While the food was certainly good, I wouldn't say it was outstanding - though it was certainly prepared with care and attention to detail. My only suggestion would be for the staff to wear a uniform that is more uniform, as it would add to the overall professional atmosphere of the place.

The beach is clean and the umbrellas are well-spaced, with excellent services available. The restaurant is also great, offering wood-fired pizza and fresh fish menus. The staff are professional, kind, and always available to assist.

To be honest, I've seen nicer beaches, but given the challenges posed by COVID, I'm not too upset. I should also mention that the sand here is golden, which is a nice touch. I'm not sure if they'll have karaoke this year, but the beach does have bars and kitchens that cater to guests staying at the Meridie Village residence. The staff are friendly, and the food is decent, though not outstanding.

The service at this beach is fantastic! My friends and I have visited multiple times for both lunch and dinner, and we've tried a variety of dishes including pizza, pasta, calamari, and salads. The octopus appetizer is especially delicious. Everything is made fresh and to order, and overall the food is very good.
