Cilento is truly a hidden gem, with a captivating atmosphere that resembles a pirate's hideout. The owner has added a special touch by decorating the place with handmade puppets, which delighted the children and added to the charm of the venue. The seafood cuisine is top-notch, offering innovative and Sicilian-inspired fish dishes. I particularly enjoyed the delicious fish mousse and the perfectly breaded anchovies. Kudos to the chef! 👏👏👏💯

We made a reservation for a table for two on August 15th, five days ago. We received notification of availability and price, and we accepted. However, instead of receiving a phone call, we were informed through WhatsApp that the table had been given to others who had booked before us. This lack of organization and incompetence from the managers left us without a place on the eve of mid-August. We should have questioned their practices the previous year when we were charged an illegal surcharge on our card payment. Despite this, Cilento remains a beautiful place, but some individuals should not be allowed to work with people. It would be beneficial if the authorities conducted more thorough checks, perhaps at the end of the evening.

The beach offers an amazing selection of fresh seafood, including traditional Neapolitan dishes, served by a friendly and welcoming staff. If you're looking for an authentic experience in southern Italy, I highly recommend visiting this place. Some of the dishes I tried and loved were the octopus salad, sautéed clams, and the famous fried seafood cornet.

The tavern-style restaurant is absolutely stunning, with a terrace that offers breathtaking views of the sea and sunset. The owner, Mrs. Rafaela, is not only incredibly kind and charming but also an exceptional cook. The restaurant has a cozy and intimate ambiance, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Although it is situated a bit uphill from the port, requiring a few steps to reach, the effort is definitely worthwhile.
