It's a shame because the beach could have been nice, but it's extremely dirty and the water is so contaminated that I didn't dare to go for a swim. I can't help but wonder how such a place is maintained.
This beach was a complete disappointment. My first and last visit lasted only an hour. The favelas nearby make the beach appear very unclean and poorly managed. The organization is extremely lacking, with a parking fee of €2 per hour being the only thing they seem to excel at. I left feeling extremely discouraged and, to put it lightly, the beach was overcrowded and messy. There was debris up to my shoulders and even a dangerous ridge. It's surprising that no one seems to be alarmed by this. I suggest that the mayor focuses less on television advertisements and instead invests more effort into improving the beach. I would also recommend that the tourism minister, Santache, personally visits the beach to witness the poor conditions firsthand.
The beach is absolutely stunning with its black sand and crystal-clear sea. You can even rent sunbeds and umbrellas for a comfortable day by the water. There's a beach bar and paid parking available right by the shore. The only downside is the unfortunate presence of plastic waste both on the beach and in the water.
The beach could use some improvement in terms of cleanliness, and it's important to remind inconsiderate individuals that the ocean is not a place to dispose of trash.
The beach and shore water should be cleaned up as there were numerous piles of plastics and dirt, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, I noticed some dead fish, possibly a result of the disrespectful behavior of certain local fishermen. It would be beneficial to have more regular inspections in place. Nevertheless, it remains a beautiful place, and I had a nostalgic morning on the rocks, reminiscent of my childhood. Such beautiful memories!
