It was truly a remarkable experience to spend time at the beach, where the picturesque view is etched in my memory forever. The natural beauty of the surroundings was simply unforgettable, and I was left in awe of the breathtaking scenery.
This charming beach may be petite in size, but its beauty is undeniable. Although, during peak season, it can become quite congested with visitors. If you plan your visit during the off-season, you'll likely appreciate the peaceful ambiance. However, during peak season, the crowds can be overwhelming as the beach is wedged between two rocks.
The beach is nothing but a desolate wasteland of rocks that have been battered and beaten by the unforgiving forces of wind and sea. While there may be free parking available, the journey to the beach is a treacherous one, requiring a short walk through a barren landscape. Even in April, the beach is not immune to the looming threat of overcrowding, as evidenced by the abundance of empty restaurants and bars that line the shore, waiting for the inevitable hordes of tourists that will descend upon them in the summer months.
To reach the stunning Canal d'amour, the best bet is to park your vehicle on the beachfront of Sidari beach, as close to the rocks as possible, and take a leisurely stroll. Once you arrive, you'll discover an array of sunbeds and umbrellas, but the real joy lies in reclining on the soft sand. Don't forget to take a dip in the crystal-clear waters and make your way to the small rocky island for some therapeutic argile baths. This beach is truly a one-of-a-kind destination that you won't want to miss.
The beach offers of clay walls that can be used as a natural face mask, along with breathtaking vistas that make it a must-visit destination. Adding to the delight are the sunbeds, which are available at a nominal cost of €4 each.
