Ithaca beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 355th place out of 504 beaches in the Ioanian Islands region 155.8 km away from its center, the city of Corfu. It is one of the beaches of Vathy settlement, just 2.4 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.
