Ithaki beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 18th place out of 504 beaches in the Ioanian Islands region 141.9 km away from its center, the city of Corfu. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Platreithias settlement, just 2.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Ithaki beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

This beach is truly breathtaking, almost like a glimpse of paradise! The water comes in 50 different shades of blue and there's a mix of sand and little white pebbles along the shoreline. You can find some shade by the rocks and there's also an incredibly beautiful cave nearby. To get there, we rented a small boat in Fiskardo and drove straight to the beach in just 20 minutes. The views are absolutely stunning and pictures just don't do it justice. If you plan on spending the day, make sure to bring plenty of water, food, and an umbrella. The only downside is during some days in July and August when small cruise ships from nearby islands (mostly Lefkada) arrive with 300 people for just 30 minutes, creating chaos and leaving behind some dirt from their boats. Other than that, this place is truly magical and magnificent!

Additionally, it's crucial to avoid getting too close to the cliffs or mountains, as rocks may tumble down unexpectedly.
