The beach was undoubtedly a picturesque location, but our experience was hindered by the lack of shade. Despite having ample space to breathe, we were unable to fully enjoy the ocean due to the intense sunlight. Additionally, the journey to the beach required sturdy footwear and plenty of water, as it involved a lengthy trek of approximately 2 kilometers downhill and back up again. Furthermore, the road leading to the beach was a gravelly dirt path that required payment for entry, which we found unreasonable considering the half-hour commute. As locals, we were eventually granted passage, but the overall experience left much to be desired.
We were enamored with the untamed shoreline, however, the route leading to the church is quite treacherous, necessitating a 4WD vehicle. Afterward, a lengthy trek awaits, and the trail is not particularly discernible.
Very nice
This exquisite little beach is a true gem, though it may require some effort to reach. However, this is precisely what makes it so exceptional.
If you're planning a visit to this beach, it's best to avoid driving there. Unless you have an off-road vehicle, you won't be able to make it to the church that overlooks the beach. The road is in very poor condition and you run the risk of getting stuck. It's better to drive the first stretch of dirt road and then continue on foot, either on the road or by following the E4 path. I recommend the latter option, as the view is simply stunning. Once you reach the church, you'll find a path that starts behind it. Be careful, as it's not easy to spot and isn't marked. The path is also overgrown with thorny bushes. If you plan to go down to the beach, make sure you wear suitable footwear. The beach itself is small, with a mix of pebbles and coarse-grained sand. The shore has a reddish-brown hue, hence its name. Unfortunately, the beach isn't particularly clean, due in part to debris carried by the waves and disrespectful tourists. Nonetheless, you'll love the scenery and the peacefulness of this secluded spot.
