Agia Fotia beach is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 43th place out of 478 beaches in the Crete region 33.5 km away from its center, the city of Kastelli. It is one of the beaches of Agia Fotia settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a tiny bay with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Agia Fotia beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

The crystalline waters, adorned with a plethora of colorful marine life, make this pebble-strewn shoreline an absolute gem. Shielded from the gusts and surges of the sea, it's a serene oasis where you can frolic with the fish and soak up the sun. This is undoubtedly one of my most cherished spots in all of Crete.

Three years ago, we stumbled upon Agia and since then, we have made it a yearly tradition to visit this stunning beach. The water is always crystal clear and the overall cleanliness of the area is commendable. Additionally, there is a bar and restaurant conveniently located on site, providing a perfect setup for a day of relaxation and enjoyment.

This charming beach with excellent snorkelling opportunities, making it a must-visit destination for aquatic enthusiasts. Although we chose to simply bask on the soft sand, the bar and sun beds were in high demand amongst other beach-goers.

This beach is one of the best I've ever visited, offering everything you could need. The beach itself is peaceful due to its distance from the main road, so you won't be bothered by noisy cars. For just 6€, you can rent two sunbeds with a sunshade, and there's plenty of space for everyone. The beach also offers good wifi with a speed of 2MB, a restaurant, beach bar, parking, showers, and even changing rooms. The water is quite deep, but it's perfect for a refreshing swim. You can even order food and drinks by scanning a QR code on your umbrella. I wish all the beaches in Crete were organized like this one.
