Mesa Pigadia beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 146th place out of 1022 beaches in the South Aegean region 127 km away from its center, the city of Ermopoli. It is one of the beaches of Akrotiri settlement, just 1.9 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and gray pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

The road leading to the beach is a bit bumpy, the effort to get there is definitely worth it due to the beautiful setting. Additionally, the beach is adorned with gray pebbles. Two bars can be found on the beach, and we particularly enjoyed the newer one further down the shore. Our group had a delightful lunch and drinks at the bar.
