Thermes beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 455th place out of 1022 beaches in the South Aegean region 126.5 km away from its center, the city of Ermoupoli. It is one of the beaches of Megalochori settlement, just 1 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and gray sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Thermes beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

Getting to the beach is quite simple: just take a short walk along the trail. Parking is located at some distance, within 300 meters.

While attempting to reach this beach, I truly believed that my life was in danger. It was situated in close proximity to The Cliff, a hotel whose name should have served as a warning. Despite the stunning beauty of the water and the unique black and red sand, I cannot in good conscience recommend this beach. I rate it two stars solely for its natural features. Regrettably, I will never return to this location. It bears repeating: I narrowly escaped with my life.

The shore boasts stunning black sand and rugged rocks that add to its natural allure. However, the trail leading towards it can be perilous, and unless you have the agility of a nimble-footed mountain goat, it's best to avoid it altogether.
