Varvarousa is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 572th place out of 1022 beaches in the South Aegean region 4.9 km away from its center, the city of Ermoupoli. It is one of the beaches of Delfini settlement, just 1.2 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains.

It is a small several bays coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Varvarousa coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

After trudging through a 35-minute hike from Delfini, you'll finally arrive at this so-called beautiful beach. Sure, the trail isn't that hard to stay on, but let's not pretend that the journey was worth it. The beach may be peaceful and secluded, but what's the point if you're just going to be surrounded by sand and water? And don't even get me started on the water - sure, it may look nice, but it's not like it's anything special. Overall, this beach is overrated and not worth the effort it takes to get there.

Oh, what a delightful little slice of paradise we stumbled upon! This beach is simply divine, with its tranquil atmosphere and minimal crowds. Of course, you do have to take a leisurely stroll for a few minutes to reach it, but trust me, it's well worth the effort. So, if you're looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this hidden gem is the perfect spot to soak up some sun and unwind.

If you are willing to take a 45-60 minute hike, you will come across a unique and secluded beach that is worth your while. As mentioned by other visitors, there is a high chance that you will have the beach all to yourself. This hidden gem is definitely worth a visit and comes highly recommended.
