The beach is peaceful, although it can get quite windy during the summer months. While there are some stones on the shore, it's still a great spot to spend the day. Self-service umbrellas are available, as well as a shower with running water to rinse off the saltwater. Additionally, there's a designated area for changing.
The beach is low key and impeccably clean, with shallow and sandy waters. During my visit on September 1st, there were hardly any people around. The sun bed and umbrella package was priced at €15.
This beach is simply stunning and offers a tranquil escape from the crowds, making the extra distance well worth it. The water is crystal clear and the sand boasts a beautiful golden hue. It's worth noting that there is a nudist area located on the southern end of the beach. Personally, this is my top pick for public beaches in Syros, with the added bonus of an island nearby to swim to and explore.
The beach was generally okay, but at times it could be quite littered.
On our three-day visit to the beach, the first day was quite disappointing due to the overwhelming crowds and noise, making it difficult to relax. However, the following two days were a different story altogether - we had a wonderful time admiring the stunning sunset, enjoying the beautiful water and wide sandy beaches, and even exploring the nudist corner. 😍🌊
