Diodes beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 455th place out of 1022 beaches in the South Aegean region 81.5 km away from its center, the city of Ermoupoli. It is one of the beaches of Ellinika settlement, just 2.7 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Diodes beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

To get to the beach, you need to take a short promenade. Parking is located at some distance, within 300 meters.

After a tranquil 20-minute hike along the red and white marked path from Loretzaina, you'll find yourself at a pristine beach in Ios that remains untouched by any man-made structures. The yellow sand and crystal clear waters are a sight to behold, providing the perfect setting for a peaceful day of sunbathing and swimming. The only disturbance to the serenity may be the occasional noisy ferry cruising at the horizon. Despite this, the beach is well worth the journey and offers a truly wild and natural experience.

A remarkable find indeed. This stunning shoreline can only be reached by way of the sea or by traversing the Loretzaina beach. A wonderfully laid out path links these two beaches together. Our visit to this beach was a private affair, as we were the only two individuals present on this picturesque island gem.

Wow, the hues of the ocean floor are simply breathtaking! It's a true feast for the eyes. And as if that wasn't enough, the access from the sea is just unbeatable. No need for those pesky umbrellas, you can just dive right in. Although, it would be nice to have some sustenance while enjoying the view. Nonetheless, this beach is an absolute gem.
