Paralia Gialos is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 322th place out of 1022 beaches in the South Aegean region 85.1 km away from its center, the city of Ermoupoli. It is one of the beaches of Gialos settlement, just 0.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a spacious bay with green pure water and brown sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

The beach is absolutely stunning! It's also conveniently located where the ferries dock, so while you're lounging on the brown sand, you can catch a glimpse of the ferries coming and going.

The beach appears to be easily accessible, which is a delightful aspect. As I scanned the area, it seemed that there were a couple of SeaTrac chairs available for use. I didn't get a chance to examine them closely, but they were definitely present. To my surprise, the water was crystal clear and remarkably clean, despite its proximity to the port. Additionally, the water was shallow even at a considerable distance from the shore.
