Kaladakia beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 9th place out of 398 beaches in the Northern Aegean region 156.2 km away from its center, the city of Mitilene. It is one of the beaches of Ormos Koumeikon settlement, just 1.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and light pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Kaladakia beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

The path leading to the beach can be quite challenging, with its tricky terrain. And when you have to climb back up to the main road, be prepared for a steep ascent. The cave is an amazing sight to behold, but it can also be a bit daunting when the waves are too strong. The water gets deep quite quickly, making it less ideal for families with small children. Nevertheless, this is definitely a spot worth checking out for its unique charm.

This beach is a fantastic destination, complete with a beach bar for refreshments. If you prefer to avoid the sun beds, there are small areas on either side where you can lay down and relax. Before you visit, it's important to take note of the wind direction. On the left side of the beach, there is a charming little cave that is perfect for swimming. The lack of sand is actually a plus for me. However, it's important to note that wheelchair access is limited, as the ramp is quite steep.

The beach is a lovely spot, though the road leading to it can be challenging on a scooter, especially if you're traveling with another person. However, if you have a car or quad, you won't encounter any issues. Alternatively, walking is always an option. The beach itself is clean and appealing. In short, I highly recommend it.
