Paralia Ftenagia is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 689th place out of 1022 beaches in the South Aegean region 273.4 km away from its center, the city of Hermupolis. It is one of the beaches of Pontamos settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Paralia Ftenagia coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

The beach has a mix of natural elements, but it is unfortunately heavily polluted in certain areas with microplastics. Additionally, there is a significant amount of plastic beneath the water. Unlike other beaches where you can spot a variety of fish, there is hardly any underwater life here. The loungers are also showing signs of age, and the sandy floor is quite dirty. On the positive side, this beach offers a stone-free bay with ample sand, making it ideal for children. It is also worth noting that there were relatively few visitors on the beach. Furthermore, there is a tavern where you can purchase ice cream, beer, and food. The internet connection is available through either 2G or 3G.
