Lies beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 572th place out of 1022 beaches in the South Aegean region 222.1 km away from its center, the city of Ermoupoli. It is one of the beaches of Emborios settlement, just 2.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with blue water and black sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, partygoers etc. It is not crowded place during the season. Please note that the area nearby is possible for wild camping.
