Mourtias beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 181th place out of 419 beaches in the Central Greece region 85 km away from its center, the city of Lamia. It is one of the beaches of Paralia Kotsikias settlement, just 2.4 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and black sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Mourtias beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

To get to the beach, you need to drive along a dirt road about 2km long. Parking is located directly on the beach.

I haven't been there, but I came close to going. However, the beach is completely inaccessible due to a rough dirt road that even a jeep wouldn't be able to handle.
