This place is fantastic - the water is a beautiful shade of blue, making it a great spot for snorkeling. The sand is super fine and white, and there's a lovely tavern with a view of the beach. Plus, it's easily accessible with lots of free parking nearby. The only downside is that the sunbeds are quite close together.
This beach on Thasos is the best! It's very shallow, so parents can relax while their kids play in the water. The sand is also lovely and small, perfect for building sandcastles. Plus, it's easily accessible!
- The beach can be accessed via a steep and dirty road, with a car park available. Many people opt to park their cars on the side of the main road due to this. However, the 10-minute downhill walk in the morning is a small price to pay compared to the dusty uphill climb after a day of swimming. - The beach can get extremely crowded, even on weekdays. The cost for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella is 10 euros, with very little space between them. However, if you venture to the further part of the beach, you can find more space between sunbeds for the same price. - There are areas on the beach where you can bring your own umbrella, and these areas do not seem to be too crowded. - It costs 50 euro cents to use the shower facilities. - On the day we visited, there was a lot of wind and very big waves all day. While this was great fun, it may not be suitable for small children. - Due to the waves, the water was not very clear. - The beach boasts very fine and light sand.
The beach is easily accessible and the scenery is simply breathtaking.
