Fari beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 129th place out of 185 beaches in the Thrace region 91.5 km away from its center, the city of Komotini. It is one of the beaches of Skala Marion settlement, just 1.1 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Fari beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

Not everyone can get to this beach. To reach it, you have to follow a dangerous mountain path, not recommended for children and elderly people.

Additionally, there are sizable rocks in the water, so it's wise to bring swimming shoes for protection. Yesterday, we explored a beach that captivated us with its pristine charm. Despite initial concerns based on reviews, reaching the beach was a breeze, and we were able to park our modest car just a brief walk away. The descent to the beach was uncomplicated, and we traversed it with ease, even in our flip-flops. The beach itself was a paradise for barefoot explorers, with easy access to the sea. We had the privilege of enjoying the beach to ourselves for the first half-hour of our visit, and even when it became busier, it remained a tranquil haven with only a handful of visitors. The beach boasted a single tree, providing natural shade in the center. For us, who prefer the peace and quiet of secluded beaches, this was the most delightful spot we discovered on Thasos.
