This beach is an ideal spot for families with small children as the water is crystal clear and shallow, ensuring safety for the little ones. It's easily accessible and won't break the bank at just 2€ for a sunbed. Additionally, the beach is well-maintained and kept clean, ensuring a pleasant experience for all visitors.
The stunning untamed beach located on Thassos island is a sight to behold. Although there are sunbeds available, it's advisable to arrive before 10 am if you want to secure a spot for yourself and your car. The water is a mesmerizing light blue, and its beauty is unparalleled. However, we gave it four stars as there are some plants in the water that could use some cleaning up. If you plan to rent a sunbed, it will cost you 2 euros each, and there is a small bar nearby. Although the prices at the bar are slightly expensive, it's convenient to have it nearby. There is also a toilet and shower facility available, which is a plus point. The water is not too deep, making it an ideal spot for families with young children.
The beach was simply breathtaking! It was a hidden gem with a small stretch of sand that was naturally shaded by the surrounding trees. The water was so clear that you could see all the way to the bottom. However, it's important to arrive early if you want to secure a parking spot for your car.
This beach is definitely worth a visit, but be sure to arrive early to secure a parking spot nearby. While the beach may be small, it boasts crystal-clear water and a smooth entry, making it ideal for families with children. Sun beds are available for a reasonable fee of 2€ per person, but be aware that umbrellas are not provided. You'll find a bar and taverna just 10 meters up from the beach, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink or a delicious meal while taking in the breathtaking view. The only minor drawback is that the water can be a bit chilly compared to other beaches, but the overall experience is still well worth it.
I had a fantastic snorkeling experience at Thasos, possibly the best one yet. If you head to the left side of the beach, between the cliffs, you'll come across a charming little oasis. The beach is surrounded by trees that provide ample natural shade. Unfortunately, the beach has lost its wild charm due to modernization, with sunbeds taking up most of the space. However, we managed to find a secluded spot on the rocks to escape the crowds.
