Timari beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 84th place out of 185 beaches in the Thrace region 73.4 km away from its center, the city of Komotini. It is one of the beaches of Pontolivado settlement, just 4.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and white sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
