The hotel was terrible with unprofessional management, resulting in a horrible experience. I work for an agency and had made a reservation for our clients, expecting a well-maintained room. However, upon entering the first room, there was a strong smell of mold. Since our clients had an asthmatic child and a baby, they immediately left. The next room they were offered had a very noisy air conditioner, making it impossible to sleep. The third room they were offered had a non-functional air conditioner, which couldn't be fixed. The reservation was for July 2023, and instead of resolving the room issues, the hotel sent the guests to the restaurant. However, the restaurant staff rudely kicked them out because the child took a piece of food from the table. It's clear that the hotel, management, and employees are all to blame for this disappointing experience. Our clients decided to return home on the same day and didn't stay at the hotel at all. Despite the problems, the hotel refused to refund the money, claiming that everything was fine with the rooms and that they would address the issues. This is both poor and shameful. Thankfully, our agency compensated the passengers, but it's crucial to warn others about the hotel's deceitful practices.
The staff is friendly, the kitchen is excellent, and the rooms are nice. The beach has sandy areas, but there are rocky parts when entering the water, so caution is necessary. It's only a 20-minute drive from the hotel to some of the most stunning beaches in Sithonia, so visiting them is not a hassle. Overall, I would rate it 4.5 out of 5.
The parking area is insufficient. The beach is a public one and lacks any additional amenities, except for loungers and sunbeds, which come with an extra charge of 3€, making it quite affordable.
This experience was quite disappointing and not worth the money. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, even though we came with friends who had been here before. Firstly, the hotel is quite old and in need of renovations. The reception, restaurant, and bathrooms are all outdated, and the shower and toilet were not functioning properly. The doors also required extra attention to ensure they were closed properly. We stayed in a family room with a lovely view of the sea and sunset, but unfortunately, the air conditioning unit above the chairs made a loud and hot environment, making it impossible to enjoy the view. The walls were also thin, so we couldn't sleep well due to the noise from neighboring families and young adults. This hotel only offers all-inclusive dining options, and my expectations were already low, but they managed to disappoint even further. The restaurant manager was extremely unpleasant and dismissive, making our dining experience unpleasant. The hotel is located near a public beach, but guests have to leave the hotel premises and walk through a dirt road, past parked cars, and across a street to access the beach loungers and sunshades, which require an additional fee. The beach itself is average compared to other beaches in Sithonia and lacks amenities such as a beach bar or music. The hotel does have two large pools, but there is a constant sewage smell. Surprisingly, the hotel does not provide pool or beach towels, which is unusual for a 4-star hotel, so guests need to bring their own. Additionally, housekeeping did not respect the do-not-disturb sign, entering the room multiple times despite the sign being displayed. Privacy was not respected. Parking is limited on the street, and most cars are left in the sun. The staff responsible for entertaining the kids spent most of their time on their phones, and the only enjoyable activity for the kids was the nightly kid disco, which was repetitive. There were no other fun activities in the evening, except for two nights with a Greek band. The mosquitoes were unbearable, and our repellents didn't work. It seemed like the hotel staff didn't take any action to address the mosquito issue, possibly to encourage guests to leave the bar quickly. Overall, this hotel was a waste of money considering the high price of approximately 300 euros per night.
The staff at this beautiful 4-star hotel goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted by genuinely friendly individuals who work at the reception, pool bar, restaurant, lifeguards, and housekeeping. They create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made my family and me feel truly valued. Additionally, the chefs at this hotel prepare delicious meals that surpass the quality typically found in other 4-star establishments. If you're willing to try local specialties, you'll especially appreciate the culinary experience here.
